At least not any that has had any significant releases in the last ten years. The Fortix type of games are all very similar with very little deviation, you must conquer the land by boxing it in while being attacked by various types of moving and shooting enemies, in this case, Dragons and Towers.Fortix is a cute little game and it deserves points for not pretending to be anything other than what it is, a cheap little time sink that'll take a couple of hours to complete and a few more to master, It's not normally a type of game I'd recommend to anyone, instead directing them towards the many free flash alternatives however with a measly 1$ price tag, Fortix can hardly be considered a waste of money. Buy it if you're bored and wanna spend a couple of hours "Conquering" the land and "Slaying" dragons.. Some of you might not remember, but this game is very similar to a game a was playing back in the days (in the early 90s) on my 386 computer. The game name was Volfied and it was one of the best games i played back then.A lot of nostalgia while playing Fortix.It's a cool game, i'm happy they made it.Edit:I finished the game in 1hour...so wait for a very cheap price before buying it.... This is a fun casual game that is a creative re-imagining of an 80's arcade classic.. Worth the price. Although it is pretty short, i enjoyed my time playing it. Enough to buy the 2nd, which is cheap as well. Overall a good game. 7.5/10. why did i buy this. Quix but crappier. But QUIX is awesome so this isn't half bad.. This game... this game cannot be decribed with mere words. It is THAT good. I advise any and all gamers of any backround and skillset to purchase this work of art. Very fun, high-stakes time killer, great game. A+, 10/10, A/5.. Originally bought number 2 on special and decided to try the original. Love them both. Yeah the prices are low but the gameplay quality isn't. Both Fortix one and two are enjoyable games. Extremely addictive and very low price. a winner. first game i purchased <3
